REI: Session 1

REI Session 1:

We discussed portions of The Loneliest American by Jay Caspian Kang along with Doing Asian American Theology by Daniel D. Lee. Both books gave varying opinions on what the identity of an Asian American is.

Going through each part of the readings, we took time to ask questions and share our personal perspectives of being Asian American and also tapped into where Christian Asian Americans should approach challenges of Asian American identity.

The following are a couple slides we paused and had a discussion about our thoughts.
